A coordinated social media movement to honor victims of sex trafficking and redirect attention to what really matters
BLACKOUT is a grassroots social media protest movement. When society focuses on trivial events while ignoring the crisis of sex trafficking, we coordinate a BLACKOUT.
This production honors the victims of sex trafficking who did not survive—those who were silenced, made invisible, and forgotten. When we post BLACKOUT, we're saying: "This is what matters. Not that."
It's a soft form of protest. It's a way to redirect attention. It's a movement to make people stop, think, and realize what's truly important.

When something trivial dominates the news cycle, I'll send the message: "BLACKOUT"
Everyone posts the BLACKOUT graphic simultaneously. Coordinated. Powerful. Impossible to ignore.
